Still Using My Words

As I have said before, sometimes I sit down, unsure of what to write about, and then suddenly the words just start flowing. Praise the Lord, today was one of those days. Here I am, a couple of days after Thanksgiving, drinking coffee and writing this here blog. I went back into the archives and realized that the month of September marked a full year of blogs for me. Writing was not something I ever considered doing because I have the tendency to overthink everything, which can lead to stress.

However, after a full year of blogging, I have become much better at pulling myself out of my overthinking black hole. It starts with taking a breath, stepping away, and saying a little prayer to remind myself of what’s important and why I started blogging on the first place. My intention with each blog has always been to spread love and kindness. Along with that, I value my quality time with my family.

So today’s post is just a reminder for me, and maybe for you, to focus on being with family and enjoying each others company. We can’t get any days back so it’s important to spend time with our loved ones while we have them around. That means chatting over coffee, playing board games, or making dinner together, all of which I hope to do at some point today. Also, as long as I keep spreading love, each blog post will write itself and I will stay out of the overthinking blackhole. I am so grateful for these reminders.

Thank You God!

I hope all of you are enjoying time with your family and friends, and if you enjoyed this blog, please consider spreading the love by sharing this post. ~xo
