Looking Back & Moving Forward!

As I sit here, writing this blog, and reflecting on the last year, I am overwhelmed with a feeling of contentment and peace.

Still Using My Time Wisely!

The year started out strong and I vowed to save money by creating new art using my good scraps and other craft supplies that were collecting dust in drawers and cabinets. One of the best decisions I made all year and I still have a lot of supplies to get through.

In April, I planned to start decorating a very bare wall in our home. However, instead of starting on that wall project, I chose to happily spend May prepping for a summer of travel. I spent most of the summer slowing down, going on adventures and recharging. With all this downtime, I was able to focus on my spiritual journey and my personal development. When September rolled around, I was so full of gratitude, I was ready to get back to work and enjoy the beautiful fall weather in Arizona.

Keeping it simple.

In 2023 I had an extensive list of tasks and a lot of them were scrapped throughout the year. I spent less time worrying about tasks and schedules and instead, I focused on relaxation and fun.

Even with most of the plan being thrown out the window, I still ended up getting a lot done and I’ve decided to simplify the plan for 2024. I will continue spending my time creating, crafting, relaxing and enjoying downtime. This KEEP IT SIMPLE approach aligns best with my lifestyle and it ensures my focus stays true to my purpose of spreading love through my art.

I still have no idea what God has planned for me. All I know for sure is I’m going to keep trusting Him and I’m staying ready for whatever He has next for me.

Thank you God for all of my blessings!
